| EL PICÓN is the quarry where the slates commercialized by FRANVISA are extracted, it is located in La Baña (León), in the Northwest of Spain. It is one of the most important quarries for its quality and slate deposits. |

| The extraction of blocks of slate from the quarry and its posterior transportation to the factory are produced by the most modern technology and machinery, but maintaining a handmade method that allows us to obtain the best result from our slate whilst respecting the environment. |
